In New Zealand we use the general term "Bush" to refer to our native forests. Tall trees tower above shrubs and younger trees, and beneath these grow ferns and mosses. Sunlight filters through the lush foliage, and birds and insects thrive. It is always very beautiful.
A BIT ABOUT ME
I took up photography in 2009. I started with a Panasonic Lumix TZ1 and then moved to a TZ7, then a Panasonic FZ100. From there I graduated to a Nikon crop sensor camera, then moved to an Olympus E-M1 mirrorless. After that I went to a Nikon DSLR full frame and later a Sony mirrorless full frame. These days I use a Nikon Z6 mirrorless full frame, along with the Olympus mirrorless E-M1 Mk2, a Panasonic Lumix TZ220 and my OLYMPUS TOUGH TG6. I'm 74 and a typical baby-boomer* 🎂
* A baby-boomer is person who was born between 1946 and 1964 and belongs to a generational group that has had significant impact on the economy and the photographic boom. It is said that some baby-boomers never grow up 🙃
